BB KING MUSEUM GRAND OPENING


Ten Days, Nine Nights following our established itinerary, includes a
special evening at The Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
We arrive on Otis' birthday, in time for an evening of entertainment
and in time for the last day of the Otis Redding exhibit.
On Saturday, Sept 13th you are invited to attend the opening day celebrations
of The BB King Museum in Indianola,MS.

Suggested Itineraries

ORIGINAL RECIPE
10 Day Tour, Arriving and Departing in Atlanta, Georgia
Day One: Arrive Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, and transfer to Macon, GA hotel. Evening welcome reception and orientation.
Day Two: Morning visit to The Georgia Music Hall of Fame, city tour and visit Allman Brothers sites.
Noon departure for Montgomery, Alabama and The Hank Williams Museum. Dinner in Montgomery included.
Late evening arrival in Muscle Shoals. Optional night sleeping on the bus or hotel.
Day Three: Muscle Shoals area tours including FAME studios, Muscle Shoals Sound, Alabama Music Hall of Fame, WC Handy birthplace. Afternoon drive to Tupelo, Mississippi to visit the Elvis Presley Childhood Museum and then to Greenwood, MS, Overnight at The Alluvian Hotel and visit Robert Johnson sites, Dinner included.
Day Four: Mississippi Delta Tour, morning drive to Hazelton,MS and Robert Johnson Museum and birthplace.
Return north via Indianola, BB King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center.
Overnight hotel in Clarksdale, MS and evening "Juke Joint Tour".
Day Five: Morning visit to the Delta Blues Museum and take Clarksdale blues tour,
Optional overnight in Tunica Casino Resorts, or stay in Clarksdale.
Day Six: Short drive to Memphis and morning visit to Graceland and Stax Soul Museum.
Check into Peabody Hotel. Afternoon and evening free for Beale Street dining and night clubbing.
Day Seven: Morning visit to Gibson Guitars and Rock and Soul Museum or optional day free, Evening dinner at Sun Studios with recording session. Late night on Beale Street.
Day Eight: To Nashville with a stop in Jackson,TN at Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Afternoon arrival in Nashville, Check in and attend evening ,Ryman Auditorium or other concert event. After-show tour of Honky Tonk Row.
Day Nine: Morning Tour of downtown, Nashville and Music Row including Studio B tour
Afternoon drive to Lynchburg,TN and Jack Daniels Distillery Tour.
Early evening check into Atlanta airport hotel. Farewell dinner party in Atlanta.
Day Ten: depart Atlanta.
